Object-Oriented Structuring of Real-Time Autonomous Decentralized Systems

چکیده

A promising cost-effective approach to realizing RT ADS's is to use the emerging technology for RT distributed component/object structuring. One such technology being explored by the author and his research collaborators is the the Time-Triggered MessageTriggered Object (TMO) structuring scheme [Kim94, Kim97b]. The TMO scheme is intended to facilitate RT distributed software engineering in a form which software engineers in the vast business software field can adapt to with small efforts. It is a syntactically simple and natural but semantically powerful extension of the conventional object structuring approaches. The scheme facilitates uniform structuring of (1) both RT and non-RT distributed application systems, (2) both control computer systems and their application environment simulators, and (3) requirement specifications and system designs arising at various phases of system engineering.

ساختار دهی آنی داده‌‌های مکانی ورودی GIS با تأکید بر عارضه راه

An important issue in implementation of a GIS system is preparation of data to be entered in GIS. To produce spatial data for GIS using photogrammetric techniques, conventional method is to apply photogrammetric and GIS systems individually (off-line procedure). This approach is costly, time consuming and somehow unreliable due to the fact that 3D photogrammetric model is not available at the ...

Realization of autonomous decentralized computing with the RTO.k object structuring scheme and the HU-DF inter-process-group communication scheme

The autonomy of various subsystems in complex real-time distributed computer systems (DCS's) is a highly desired attribute. Highly autonomous subsystems enable concurrent and largely independent testing/verification and maintenance of the subsystems. In recent years, we formulated two system structuring techniques which could be used as fundamental tools for enhancing the subsystem autonomy: (1...

An Architecture Supporting Loose and Close Cooperation of Distributed Autonomous Systems

There is a general trend in designing distributed control systems to give an increasing amount of autonomy to the individual nodes of such systems. Autonomous nodes interact only loosely. But also, close cooperation under hard real-time constraints is required in certain situations. This paper analyzes approaches for structuring distributed control systems and presents an architecture integrati...

Agent Oriented Technology Based on the M-Agent Architecture

The complexity of distributed and decentralized systems demands new tools for designing and programming processes. An idea of autonomous agents that arises as an extension of the object and process concepts may be applied to distributed and decentralized systems development ([9],[11]). In the paper the authors have undertaken an attempt to describe formally the architecture of multiagent system...

An Approach to Specifying Concurrent, Distributed, and Autonomous Object Behaviors Using a High-Level Meta-Object Protocol

To develop distributed applications requires to consider not only functional requirements but also nonfunctional requirements such as distributions, synchronizations, and scheduling policies. Specifying such non-functional requirements is necessary for supporting on-line capabilities of Autonomous Decentralized Systems (ADS). However, the existing design notations and methods do not address suc...
